In Februay 2026, a team of volunteers from the Kumi Communty Foundation travelled to Kumi in Uganda to distribute wheelchairs and other walking aids to some of of the residents of the town and surrounding areas.

This gallery captures the moments when disabled persons from the Kumi community are assessed and issued with any necessary equipment.

There are also some portraits of recipients and parents or family of the recipients.

The team saw 192 patients seen in clinic over 5 days and

37 patients seen in the field.

229 patients seen in total.

90 wheelchairs were given out in clinic.

47 buggies

30 pairs of crutches

16 prosthesis and 4 surgeries are to be funded by the charity.

It is hoped to undertake another distribution late in 2027.
